    Abstract: Integrated energy system (IES) is committed to building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and its intelligent development is the key to achieving this goal. Artificial intelligence (AI), with its excellent data processing and intelligent analysis capabilities, provides strong support for the innovation of IES in energy utilization mode. The artical focuses on the application of AI in IES optimal scheduling and analyzes its role in optimizing scheduling strategies and its impact on improving system flexibility and reliability. The artical systematically reviews the research progress of AI-based IES optimal scheduling, and deeply analyzes the demand for AI technology in IES. At the same time, it analyzes from the perspective of the whole process of optimal scheduling, summarizes the specific application practices and related strategies of AI in IES optimal scheduling, and looks forward to the future development direction. The artical aims to deepen the understanding of the application of AI in IES optimal scheduling, and provide theoretical support and practical guidance for promoting the development of energy system towards intelligence.
