Abstract: This article presents an interview with Dr. Quan Chen, winner of the 2023 “CCF-IEEE CS Young Scientist Award”. During the conversation, Dr. Chen first outlined his research trajectory, including his postdoctoral experience abroad. He then detailed his specific research works and shared his perspectives on the current landscape and future evolution of cloud computing technologies. Finally, he discussed the impact of the current global landscape on research endeavors and offered advices for aspiring young scholars pursuing academic careers.
