Abstract: Wushouer Slamu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Xinjiang University, has long been dedicated to the field of multi-lingual information intelligent processing. Since the 1980s, he has keenly recognized the urgency of digitizing minority languages. When this field was still blank, he led his team in decades of research, establishing a theoretical and technical system for information processing in Uyghur, Kazakh, and Kirghiz languages. He conquered core technologies such as multi-lingual mixed processing and developed information systems covering multiple fields, enabling ethnic minority compatriots to enter the information age synchronously. He is known as the pioneer of ethnic languages in the digital era. His research has built a bridge of national unity through information technology, promoting the intelligent transformation of information processing for ethnic minorities in Xinjiang. The national computing power center he helped establish provides support for the “Belt and Road Initiative”, and his achievements contribute to forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation. He has exhorted young scientific and technological workers to take on missions, bear in mind the “Four Orientations”, break through “neck-breaking technologies”, integrate personal ideals into national development, and inherit the spirit of serving the country through science and technology.
