Artificial Intelligence and the Revolution of Higher Education: Report of the 27th CCF Beautiful Lake Seminar

  • From May 23 to 25, 2025, the 27th CCF Beautiful Lake Seminar was successfully held at the CCF BC in Suzhou. With the theme of “Artificial Intelligence and the Revolution of Higher Education”, the seminar brought together over 20 leading experts from academia and industry for in-depth exchanges and discussions. The seminar focused on four topics: the construction of artificial intelligence (AI) specialty, the development of AI-Integrated dual degree programs, general education courses on AI, and the empowerment of higher education through AI. Based on the outcomes of the discussions, participating experts synthesized key insights and reached a forward-looking consensus on how AI can drive revolution in higher education. They jointly issued an initiative calling for a comprehensive integration of AI technologies into the educational system, deepening collaboration among industry, academia, and application sectors, and fostering innovative and synergistic development between AI and higher education.
